Registered Nurse Needed for Non-profit Human Services Organization
Location: Needham, MA
Pay Rate: Up to $53/hour (based on experience)
Duration: 13-week contract to start (potential for extension)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community-based setting. This role focuses on promoting health, safety, and overall well-being while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing assessments and ongoing health monitoring

Administer and oversee medications and treatments

Coordinate care with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary staff

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Support individuals with chronic conditions and preventative care needs

Train and guide staff on medical protocols and best practices
-
Ensure compliance with all state regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
-
Previous experience in developmental disabilities, community health, or long-term care preferred

Strong clinical, organizational, and documentation skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to work independently in a community-based environment

CPR/BLS certification required
